Youth Development Delegates in the Arab Region
Youth Development Delegates in the Arab Region is a job-placement program run in cooperation with the United Nations. The initiative aims to familiarize young Arabs with the operational framework of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), equip them with the skills necessary to face real-world challenges in their countries and turn them into opportunities, as well as empower them to implement innovative solutions based on the experience and skills they have acquired.
Initiative goals:
- Offering Arab youth, the opportunity to actively participate in UN programs for the Arab region.
- Building the capacities of young development delegates and enabling them to network with their peers.
- Enhancing the contribution of young Arabs to development in their countries in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Exchanging successful development experiences between Arab countries and the rest of the world through young development delegates in cooperation with UNDP.
