Modern communication techniques were made possible by technological advancements, which are characterized by new communication features and functions. These features and functions helped media adapt to new content, become more interactive, and have the flexibility to integrate, process, coordinate, send, receive, and store media contents.
Arab youth defined the new Arabic media as interactive media with a variety of sources and platforms with a virtual and global scope, as well as rapidly spreading and influencing sphere, as these features and technical advancements in the media industry contributed to its transition from the fourth authority in society to the first authority and by giving it popularity among Arab youth as a tool for entertainment and news access.
This study report is being prepared by the Arab Youth Center in collaboration with Why5Research to address Arab youth's opinions and requirements about modern media.
